Junior Workshop Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking to employ a highly motivated Junior Workshop Technician to work as key member of our equipment delivery team based in Warrington assisting with:

 

·         Provision of fit for purpose equipment in support of field services projects

·         Repairing/cleaning/testing equipment after it returns from projects

·         Mechanical & Electrical assembly/test of equipment

·         Liaising with equipment managers to ensure project requirements are met

·         Packing, shipping, delivery and collection of equipment

·         Ensure all equipment meets quality standards

·         Maintain a clean and tidy workshop environment

·         Manual handling tasks within the workshop environment

·         Maintain and control stock flow (ultrasonic probes, cables, consumable items etc.)

 

Qualification & Experience:

To be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or ability required:

·         College level Mechanical or Electronics qualification desirable

·         Ability to work under time constraints and meet agreed deadlines

·         Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team

·         Full clean driving licence

·         Familiarity/Competency with Microsoft Office tools

·         Written and Oral Communication Skills.
