SONOMATIC RAIS WINS SAFETY GROUPS UK INNOVATION AWARD 2022 STEVENSON SHIELD

Sonomatic RAIS  in-house developed Magnetic Laser Cleaning and Inspection Crawler has been awarded the Stevenson Shield through the SGUK National Health and Safety, Innovation Awards 2022. Recognised for the innovative work done to develop a technical response to a real health and safety issue, raising the standards through cleaning and inspecting spheres, vessels, and tanks.

Our automated buggy performs ACFM, Phased Array, and ToFD simultaneously. Our unique, patented laser cleaning system clears the path under the buggy to ensure no delays from the wheels sticking. The buggy also has a 3D profiler and by utilising the Sonomatic Limited engineering team’s software, we can provide our clients with a 3D model of their asset, highlighting exactly where any defects are, or other points of interest.
