Sonomatic was proud to support the recent Aberdeenshire Clubsport SCIO Awards, sponsoring the Disability Sport Award as part of the organisation’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
Held to recognise the achievements of athletes, volunteers and clubs across the region, the evening was a fantastic celebration of the people who make community sport such an important part of Aberdeenshire.
Representing Sonomatic on the night was Greig Illingworth, Aberdeen Base Mobile Team Supervisor, who had the honour of presenting the Disability Sport Award to Joanna Robertson.
Joanna, a T54 wheelchair racing athlete, was recognised for an outstanding 2025 season, with impressive performances across both track and road events. Her dedication, resilience and sporting success made her a deserving recipient of the award.
The evening also highlighted the incredible contribution of those working behind the scenes to create opportunities for athletes of all ages and abilities. Special thanks go to Jackie Smith, Chair of Aberdeenshire Clubsport, for organising such a memorable event and for her continued commitment to supporting local sport throughout the region.
At Sonomatic, we are proud to support the communities in which we operate and to celebrate the individuals and organisations helping others achieve their potential.
Congratulations to all of the award winners and nominees. We were delighted to be part of such an inspiring evening and look forward to supporting future events.
